Green Supply Chains

The ” Green Supply Chain ” project consortium has advanced its studies into short-term solutions for the energy transition in ports and logistics chains.

In BrestPort, the scope of studies covers in particular the implantation of a LNG production, storage and distribution plant with the just started “risk assessment step”. LNG and bio-LNG enable reducing 60% of Sox and 20% of Co2. It is considered as one transition step by shipping companies. Feasibility conditions will be set out under four months.
